The accuracy of this DigiWeigh DW-100AS is perfect for weighing lab chemicals, loose diamonds & gemstones, gunpowder, and other valuable and/or hazardous materials which require exact precision. The GRAIN mode is commonly used to weigh gunpowder for reloading and archery arrows. The GRAM and OUNCE modes are great for weighing lab chemicals, specimen, and even precious metals like scrap jewelry & bullion; the Ounce mode is also great for food portions. The TARE button allows you to reset the scale to ‘0’ while in use; perfect when weighing powders, oils or liquids. The calibration weights can be used to re-calibrate the scale from time to time, ensuring consistent measurements. High quality strain gauge load cell system makes it accurate in full capacity range.
